How did you become a Bon Jovi Fan??

I´m just a bit curious: How and when did you get into Bon Jovi?

Well, I´m one of the "newer" fans. The first "Bon Jovi" Song I had was Queen of New Orleans (It was the first Single I´ve ever bought :) ) But it still took me quite a while to become a Jovi Fan. When I heard It´s my life, I absolutely loved that song! Right afterwords I went down to the record store and bought it. A few weeks later there was a "Bon Jovi Day" on VIVA. I was a bit ill that afternoon, so I just layed down on the couch with some tea and cookies and watched TV. They showed all the Jovi clips from Runaway till It´s my life, and absolutely loved what I heard :D The following weeks I bought all their albums, and now I´m adiccted to Bon Jovi!!

You Give Love a Bad Name was the first single I bought - on 12 inch vinyl! There were other bands around as well - Europe with their big fluffy perms but I thought BJ would last the distance. LOAP was released and I bought that on 12 inch vinyl and have been a massive fan ever since.

The first time I heard It's My Life....

Late 1999 after hearing Crossroad in some friend's car I decided to buy it: I knew some of the songs in it but I had never realised they were so great before. Got addicted: nothing more to say.
And I remember myself singing Ktf when it came out without knowing a word from it but mother and father or that it was by BJ.

I became a fan with Crush. I heard it's my life on the radio and loved it. Then one wild night came out and I recognized that tyflm and bed of roses are also by Bon Jovi. Well, the same year I often hang around with the neighbour of a friend. She has been a BJfan for years and when she bought Crush I asked her if I can burn it. I wanted to have own, it's my life and tyflm but when I heard the rest of the album I was so surprised that the whole album sounds so fantastic. :D Then I saw the clips of it's my life and one wild night and the first thing that said was "Hey, is this guy really nearly 40? He looks like 20." (I didn't recognize that there were Richie & co. , too) That was it: a band that makes the best music I've ever heard with a goodlooking singer (though the others don't look bad, too *g*). I started to download some songs, burned 7800° Fahrenheit and then I started to buy some CDs. Now I can't imagine to live without this great music.

The guys saved me from all those boy bands.

The song "Always" was a soundtrack for a brazilian soap opera, I can remenber, at this time I was only 8 and I loved the song, than I started searching for another BJ song, and I discovered that my cousin had Crossroad, than I listened it all. Now I´m right here, telling you how I became a BJ fan, of course, after many Cds bought.... :D
