As you may have noticed, I have been out of the game recently. Can anyone tell me what is happening with Obie and his paedophilia problem (allegedly)? Has he offended again (allegedly)? Is he in prison? I hope he is okay. Thank you in advance.

Sued against what?? Wasn't he convicted?

As there has been absoloutly no mention of it ANYWHERE, it probably inidicates that it was complete and utter rubbish.

No it wasn't, even the Oompa's handled it very serious. If it would've been rubbish they'd just told you it was rubbish. You haven't heard of it anywhere lately because Americans are good in hiding stories.

I don't know very much either but I've seen him at the concert in Hartford/CT in August. He wasn't on tour here in Europe but he was in the USA. Maybe he just isn't allowed to leave the country but he is not in jail (yet).

I know Obie is supposedly Jons best friend and so therefore Jon should stick by him and all that however if there was any truth to this then why hasnt Jon at least suspended him from working at the shows?

I mean have a convicted (or accused pido) working for your band aint going to generate the best press.

If its all false then fair enough but if its not then why is he allowed to work in the studio doing the mixes (hes doing the mixing for "This left feels right)

As Jon says the band never air their dirty laundry in public and I suppose that would go for band workers.

It did happen, just because it was never mentioned anywhere doesn't mean it didn't happen. Bon Jovi love to keep things under wrap and not air their dirty laundry. This was something that they definitely didn't want to talk about. Obie didn't go to any shows outside of America and only a handful of shows in Amercia. How many times, there were questions asked if Obie was at a show and the answer was no by the Oompas. Since this scandal broke, Obie has not once come back to answer questions at BJ.com.
