Barker rocks to Bon Jovi

Gas City Republican mayoral candidate Steven Barker maintains the city Republican Web site himself and said they've had about 700 hits since the site launched for the spring primary elections.

He said he listens to music while he's working on the page. There is a running joke among the Gas City Republicans about Barker and his attraction to the music of famed rocker Jon Bon Jovi.

"I love Bon Jovi," Barker said.
