Well, I think Modern Talking did it first, but Hot Chocolate have the most famous version.

Hot Chocolate did the original Brother Louie, supposedly inspired by a song done by the Kingsmen "Louie, Louie".

Btw, Hot Chocolate's version was done in the 70s, BEFORE Modern Talking were around :wink:
