unplugged or acoustic?

is this left feels right going to be an unplugged album or an acoustic album?

acoustic as in the version of never say goodbye jon and richie did at the 89 mtv awards just them and acoustic guitars

or unplugged like prayer 94 where you get the drums and keys in there but obviously alot more restrained than the usually versions?

Well for one I thought they did Livin' On A Prayer ~ Wanted Dead Or Alive at the 89 awards.

I think this will be acoustic though, mainly because the official release on the website says so, lol.

The whole band is playing, but from what they've said, it's not going to be specifically unplugged or acoustic. They're reworking the songs in different genres. BTBMB as a "waltz" wouldn't fall under either category.

Unplugged and acoustic is the same. Unplugged is just the name of the show from MTV where they show acoustic concerts. The people use it now when they talk about acoustic shows.

Prayer 94 ist not acoustic /unplugged but electric.

I think Becky is right. Originally they wanted to make an acoustic-album but when I read the press releases and stuff I'm not that sure that it will be acoustic but new versions of the songs.

acoustic means voice and acoustic guitars.

unplugged means u can have a whole band with no electric guitars.

Going by your definitions, then probably unplugged. But, I don't think that it's going to be either anymore. That's why the title "This Left Feels Right". They went into the studio planning on doing an acoustic/unplugged album and ended up doing something entirely different. I guess we'll see in a few weeks.

the word unplugged seems to be out of fashion now adn accoustic seems to have taken over.

U

UNPLUGGED
Minimal amplification (instrument amps only.) These days, UnPlugged is a registered trademark of MTV Networks with relation to the UnPlugged TV and CD series. However, the phrase UnPlugged is generally recognized as describing an acoustic, no-frills performance of songs.

there is no diffrent between ACOUSTIC and UNPLUGGED, both means u dont use any ELECTRIC instruments, so u can make an acoustic (or unplugged) song with just 1 guitar, or with a full orchestra...

and prayer 94 isnt unplugged or acoustic (what ever u call it) it has an electric guitar.....

acoustic or unplugged isnt a category, its just about the instruments, so this mean a song can be both ACOUSTIC and WALTZ....
