JON BON JOVI: MORNING DISC JOCKEY?

OK, maybe Jon Bon Jovi isn't wearing enough hats lately: singer, musician, screenwriter, actor, husband, father, football team owner... Now he's going to be MORNING SHOW D.J. On THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2nd, JON BON JOVI will be the MORNING SHOW D.J. on the NYC rock radio station Q-104 from 8:00AM - 10:00AM (ET.) There is NO INFORMATION to share with you yet on what Jon will be doing on the air - there is NO INFORMATION call-ins, requests, etc. Local fans will simply need to tune in (104.3 FM) and listen. Unfortunately, there is NO streaming of the radio station over the internet. As more information comes in, we'll attempt to pass it along but the details may be very late in coming so your best bet is to TUNE IN.

I'll be recording it. I don't have a tape recorder here though so it's going to be a really, really huge mp3. :?

I'll record it also - and yes of course I'll share. Q104.3 is our local classic rock station and they have an entire series using celebrities in the music field as DJs. Some are good and some are awful - I think Jon will be quite good thanks to his acting.
Sarah - I have a program that chops huge MP3s into little bits if necessary.

I have a show from 1991 when Jon was a guest DJ and he did a great job. He was funny and entertaining.

I'll be taping it too!! This morning they had Peter Frampton filling in and he was hysterical. Had a blast, played a lot of great songs.

For those of you in the area, Jim Kerr will be taking the reins of the morning show on Q104.3 starting next Monday morning (great to have him M-F again instead of just weekend mornings).

Glad they finally got rid of that "radio chick" person they have had on - she was awful!!!!!
