Bon Jovi "99 In The Shade" was played in a commerc
 

hey guys!

I was wonderin did anybody watche the race the yesturday nite? I was watchin it and it went to commercial and the next thing I know I heard "99 In The Shade" playing, I couldn't believe it. It was a commercial I think for chevy driver tony stewart. It was great, even though I don't like tony stewart lol. Anybody else heard it? Well take care everyone!

no but i thought this was the perfect time to state my opion.....

99 in the shade is the only bad song on New Jersey, it VERY nearly ruined the whole album fo me!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing last summer sat on the beach in 40 degree heat listening to it, lolal.

i havent seen the ad......but in magazines it shows lyrics then -Bon Jovi with the picture of a chevy


and now that i think about it.....why did they pick 99 in stead of 88 or 89 or some other number

its just a insanely cheesy song, and all the other songs on the album are beautiful.... 'born to be my baby', 'wind is the wind' and 'stick to ur guns'.... then u have the lyrics "Oh tell the boys I'm on my way, I got the radio blasting in my old man's Chevrolet, I got a party in my pocket cause you know I just got paid"

anyway i said it NEARLY ruined it, it's still the best BJ album to date

99 in the shade rocks! I love it :wink:
