12 Tracks!!!

From BJ.COM:

"Here's what you need to know: THIS LEFT FEELS RIGHT is coming out in the US/CANADA on NOVEMBER 4. It comes out internationally on NOVEMBER 3. JAPAN's slated release date was OCTOBER 29 though it might run a day or two late.

There are 12 tracks. All greatest hits reworked.

There will be limited promotional activities on this project - the usual radio phoners, extensive newspaper, magazine and TV interviews... - don't look for it on this project. There will be some big events. News will follow. But this is not like any other album so don't assume things will be the way they were with CRUSH or BOUNCE. Jon will be on the cover of Decembers (US) REDBOOK magazine. But this is really about the music and letting the album be discovered. What's up this week? Tico had a birthday party over the weekend down in Florida. Richie's getting ready to do his American Dreams appearance. Jon might sneak some acting in between naps. MEMPHIS closed in Beverly, MA to great reviews. And the Giants lost. Again. (A word: this isn't brain surgery and we're not curing cancer. We wish we could. This is just rock 'n' roll. It's a powerful thing - but it's not everything. Try to keep life in perspective, folks.)".

Anyone knows what's happening? I'm little bit confused:

the two songs were omitted, and they commented on the annoyance by the fans in the last the last sentence.

Maybe if they just acknowledged that the fans may actually be disappointed by something that the band did, we'd be a little less aggrivated. Don't tell me that I'm going to get two new songs on TLFR and then decide to omit them after it's been announced. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's the record labels fault, blah blah blah. If they are such a huge band for the label, maybe they'd have a little more say in what goes on with their albums. So, instead of telling us to get over it, why don't they just appoligize for misleading us into thinking we'd actually get some new songs! They make it seem like we have no right to be pissed off. We're the ones spending the money on records and concert tickets for the last 20 years. We have a right to be annoyed!

Sorry, I had to get that off my chest. LOL.

I totally agree. The reaction of the fans is completely understandable and an apology or sincere explanation would go a long way. Of course everyone will get over it, but it usually makes people feel better if they get an apology or explanation. That is true for all aspects of life.

What's the big deal with that???

Even if it is the lables fault
