forgotten about Those Days!?
 

Has it hit anyone else that the band ignore THESE DAYS? At concerts andnow on a greatest hits album! They seem to hate it, or maybe do't want to spoil it? Its the best album they've done!

I would've loved to see at least one track remade, This Ain't a Love Song(one of there best songs) or In these arms or These Days or Guitar Bleeding! one would've been nice. how does everone else stand on this subject??

yeah, quite sad. it's a great album. not the best one in my eyes, but great. my guitar lies bleeding is my fav song on it by the way.... but the band seems to be not really proud of that album....
but there are a lot of other bands with the same "problem" too, who just don't like some of their best albums. and then they somehow seem to love some other albums that all fans think are rather weak.

These Days was one album. There are other ones that are just as good if not better. I can't stand that this is the only album that people recognize them for. :twisted:

To me, it was a failed attempt to try and be serious. It came off as cliche and cheesy.

still a lot better than bounce so, which is ultra-cheesy in my eyes!

Bounce has some good songs along with some terrible ones. At least it goes beyond one genre of music though.

Completely agree with my guitar lies bleeding..probably on thier bast songs to date! I don't know, I think it maybe something to do with the fact that These Days is a collection of highly charged, angry and pessimistic songs with many about breaking up and the lack of faith in the World originating from the troublesome time they had back 10 or more so years ago with the split and the departure of Alec..Bon Jovi relit themselves with the anthem It's my life from Crush, an album full of optimistic anthems, its just not the way Bon Jovi want to go again...they have to many optimistic followers!!

These Dyas is my fave album and like ive said before, realistically we werent getting no These Days songs on this album if you thought about it for a moment. I more disappointed there are no 7800* songs on it.

ha ha no i dont really feel that way but something to believe in is my fav track and works nice acoustic an all, also yeah TD totally, just ignored, well, i dunno but maybe it was fluke talent LOL that is one of the most loved eras of BJ and now u get nothing from it...was a fluke LOL

If bounce is ultra cheesy then what does that make slippery when wet?
