You know something.....
I'm learning to drive and was out today on a lesson, funny thing happened.....
I was driving back home as you do and the speed limit was about to change from a 30 to a 40, i had a white lorry behind me and it was going to overtake me just as i was approaching the 40 zone, low and behold there was oncoming traffic so the lorry had to stay behind me, this lorry driver after getting back behind me and wasnt allowed to overtake me as it was a double white line in the middle of the road then decided he'd flash me and drive so close behind me that if i'd have breaked he would've ended up driving straight into the back of me. Its good being a learner driver as other road users are SO very considerate! I aint saying im an expert when it comes to driving but i have had enough lessons to say i'm confident enough. But when drivers drive like this is it any wonder why there are some many stupid road accidents on the roads! |
What a rude man. Come drive around here for a bit, then you will have seen it all. My husband refers to Jersey as Hazzard County. Everyone here thinks that they are Bo and Luke Duke. :?
Anyway, don't worry. Pretty soon you will be an aggresive driver too. :wink: |
LOL! An agressive driver! Me never, im such a sweet and innocent person behind the wheel of a car!
I give my driving instructor such a laugh when i get in the car with him, i never shut up and i complain about other drivers LOL! |
lol something similar happened to me a few weeks ago. i was driving my boyfriend's car on a very narrow road and behind me there were two cars and a lorry. i couldn't drive fast on that road so the lorry wanted to overtake us all! that was three cars! and from the other direction there were other cars coming. i was so afraid that i had to stop on the side of the road but my speed was about 40 km and there was an old woman walking in front of me and i almost hit her... well i braked soon enough but that was a dangerous thing to do. but the lorry driver was even worse than me... :roll:
btw the old lady just kept walking without realising anything from what had just happened! :? |
Oh i get lorries and vans overtaking me on bends, its great fun! And i also get impatient drivers overtaking me but the funny thing is, they dont get too far as theres either traffic or traffic lights are on red!

Oh ya, some people can be annoying... My driving teacher usually doesn't put on this "driving school" sign at the top of the car. He also didn't do that during most of my first lessons. Imagine how rude people can become when you drive like a beginner and don't have this damn sign...However, I wish you good luck that you'll soon have your license. :wink:
