The next single
 

As Jon said during the Shepard's Bush gig tonight "Misunderstood" will be the next single. It was the first time I heard that song in full length and I like it, but I know there are better tracks on the album but anyway, it's the band's choice, it sounds radio friendly and that must be reason enough... ha, they'll never ask me :-(

The song is a lot like "Mystery Train" (which I totally like), don't you think? I just don't like that it starts with the vocals without any intro and that it has hardly instrumental passages, a little solo and no outro... it's too short. But it's cool.

I really liked Misunderstood. I dont think its too like Mystery Train, I love Mystery Train too! :D

I much preferred THe Distance! Really like it!

i think Misunderstood is a way better choice than All About Lovin' You, which, although is a nice song, isn't by any means a classic bon jovi ballad imo, it's not even close to conveying emotions like "Always" or "Bed of Roses".

I think Misunderstood is very catchy, and a sweet song, kinda more poppy than the other songs on bounce, but i just love it!

Also, as i'm learning guitar, it's so cool to strum along to!

Actually Jon didn't say that it WILL be the next single.

He said that "We are thinking about making this the next single."

Therefore meaning that they havn't decided yet....

i think misunderstood is quite a good song- the only problem i see is that there is a band named "the calling" and they and their fans will be probably pissed off for misunderstood is actually the same as their smash "wherever you will go"...

Excuse me, but what part of those songs sounds the same? I´ve been listening those 2 songs and I don´t think there´s anything same. Of course you´re entitled to your opinion and I´m not trying to start any fights. I´m just saying that I don´t think that they sound the same. And I hope that Misunderstood is not the next single. There are better songs on the album.

np finn! i don't wanna put up a fight too! so here's my explanation:
they've got the same chords in the stanzas- despite that wherever you... is in D and misunderstood in G- so if you play misunderstood in D you have the same chords as wherever you will go (D-A-hm-G)- the rhythm is also quite similar!

misunderstood: em-C-G-D
wherever you...: the same chords as in the stanza

I've only heard Misunderstood once (last night) & thought it was OK - Reminded my of SIIS part 2, although in places it sounds similar to Mystery Train (Although far better).

I think I speak for alot of ppl when I say UNDIVIDED should be the next single. - Its awesome.
