Scarecrow tigs is a game where you have a shedload of kids who are not 'On' and they run away from 1 kid who is 'On'.

When the On Kid touches/slaps (tigs) another kid they have to stand like a scarecrow with arms out, until another kid that's not on manages to touch them. You have 5 lives and once you've been touched and released 5 times you are then 'On' with the original kid. And so on :p

I also remember 'British Bulldog' where 1 kid was 'on' in the middle of the playground and all the kids lined up against one wall - they then all ran to the other side, and any of them who the 'on' kid managed to touch was then 'on' too. It usually ended with 1 kid running back and forth with everyone else 'on' on the middle haha
