well done love

> also did on friday. Our Area Manager (boss off all the stores in the north west) was in, hes only in about once a month, but he walked into menswear stockroom where i was working and the first thing he said was "bloody hell" and put his hand on his mouth...he couldnt believe how much work i had done in the last month sicne he was last in. A month agom, we had that much stock that we couldnt even open the door to get in and we (well...I) had to climb in and over boxes (its a good job health and safety didnt see it), so there is barely any boxes on the floor and theres loads of hanging space for more stock too, i really have worked wonders down their and out area manager said he was gobsmacked and kept saying how excellent and amazing it was, he said a really well done. :D

Neurotica80 01-12-2004 05:05 PM

>thinks ^ should def get offered a fulltime contract for all his hard work

Kev 01-12-2004 05:13 PM

tell > about it

They want me full time, they just cant afford ot keep me full time for good, as there isnt enough money there for anyone let alone me. Actually one of our assistant sales managers has just left, so as long as someone from our store gets promoted to her position, which i think there are a good one or two strong candidates for it, then there will be a full time vacancy for someone. Last time a position became available, i came runner up and no-one else in my opinion even had a chance. Plus i am the only lad on my floor so they need someone like myself to do all the heavy work so i think i have got a good chance.

Saying all that, i dont even wanna stay in the company and stil hope to get a job elsewhere, but if fulltime was offered to me, then i would definately take it..even just for the time being.

Neurotica80 01-12-2004 05:19 PM

>hopes you do get it. At least you;ll get more paid holidays and better conditions and that. At least you'll get a good reference from them

Kev 01-12-2004 05:22 PM

> know i will defo get a good reference, the only time i have been told off in the three years+ that i have worked there was afew weeks ago for swearing on the shop floor and having a argument with a colleague

I just hope my current knowledge of computers will get me an office job that pays heaps more!

Neurotica80 01-12-2004 05:25 PM

>was gonna say, have you thought about that?? I bet youd walk into a job in our IT section, I think even I know more than them about computers
