love triangle:the guy,the girl & the god

one of my friend(not close 1) is a doctor...he is hindu like me....he is in love with a christian lady...now the deal is the guy"s family has a condition for the marriage that girl should come to the mandir (hindu temple) with them.....the girl is not ready to do it....her condition is "guy should be comking to church & his whole family 2"....if the guy & his family do that still girl is not ready to go to mandir.....now the guy loves the girl from the bottom of his heart....he is ready to change the religion to mARRY the girl...but guy"s family don"t want a "CHRISTIAN SON"

your thoughts on this situation?

You really can't compete with god, now can you? I mean, you're bound to lose, if god really exists. If not, you might have a shot. You just have to prove it first. :)

religion is the origin of so many troubles ! Do you think their eventual futur children will have the right to choose their religion ?? :?

iceman:god is there..& he"S not responsible for the situation

jess:you r right..the kid will be in trouble...

you can't expect anyone to change their religion. if the girl doesnt want to marry the hindi way, she shouldnt have to. on the other side, the guy shouldn't be forced to marry the christian way :? i have no solution to this :?

it's alot of bullshit man.

not picking on anyone in particular cos there's lots but religions that will not allow or look down on marrying into another religion or someone from another religion should be ****ing ashamed.

personally i'm not having something that never has and never will be proved (ie God) dictating my life even though i do have my theories on God and neither should anyone.

Yeah, I've got to agree with Jim Bon Jovi too.

We shouldn't be living by stupid sets of rules written hundreds, or even thousands, of years ago, that have no relevance to our modern lives.

Marrying someone is just a piece of metal on your hand and a piece of paper to say you're married, and all it does is symbolise 2 peoples love for each other. No religion should get in the way of that.

Religion is all brainwashing.
