How aften u do blood donation and whats ur blood group?. I only did twice in my life and one is at two days back for patent whos going for heart operation. For my delight, that patents operation went successfuly and now I'm happy.

My Blood group is one of the rarest, O-ve. What is urs?.

i dont donate blood...i would love to, but whenever i have blood taken i ALWAYS faint...without fail. :mad:

I once tried but they wouldn't let me because they said I would faint :oops: :roll: They gave me the sandwich they always give, though! :roll:

i gave ablood a while ago. cant remember what type i am but it was funny when the little woman was embarrased askign me if i did any needle drugs or had any homosexual encounters.

didn't find it a problem at all and my girlfriend was more freaked out about it than me.

I had my blood tested when i was 15 for diabetes, that day has put me off giving blood or letting anyone stick a needle in my vein ever again! So no i dont donate blood and i havent a clue what type i come into.

so, if you don't shoot up you can be as drugged up as something and they still would take your blood :shock:

the needle drug question is certainly meant to identify a high risk for HIV, but they test for that anyway ....

I've never given blood cause I am the biggest chicken when it comes to needles!!!! I get a lot of peer-pressure at work, though. We have the bloodmobile come by every 6 months and most of our people go give blood, just me always "has too much work" :wink: :? So, eventually I'll have to get over it.

I only turned 18 a few months ago anyway, so I guess I can now, but don't know if I would or not.

I have only had blood taken once for a blood test, and didn't mind at all, so I guess that wouldn't bother me too much at all.

I'm type A+ which is not rare but no the most common either. I do give blood occasionally and would always do so for a good cause. Needles and such don't bother me much - never have - so that's not a problem. Good comment though about the drugs. I've never done any needle type drugs nor been homosexual but they never ask about all those other drugs :D

I don't give blood, I know I should, but the thought of them sticking a needle in me for no reason and with my permission is just taking it too far!! I think I'm the commonest O blood group, can never remember if that is positive or negative..
