I have had the day from hell!

Jenn, I can sympathize with your bad days!

Aside from some HIGHLY STRESSFUL things I can't really discuss at the moment, I have had a genuinely crappy day all around! A lot of it is work related and if you didn't give the tests, you wouldn't understand exactly why they're so frustrating. So, I won't elaborate there.

My boss wants me to go give a language test for a higher ability to a kid I tested about two weeks ago because he wouldn't qualify for learning disability based on what he scored on the stanard battery. It makes me mad because A: make the damn speech/language pathologist give the language tests, thank you very much and B: if a kid doesn't qualify, why do we have to fish for results to make him qualify?

Susan told me to meet her at the library of one of the schools to test a kid. I lugged this 30 lb test kit all around the campus because they weren't in the library afterall.

I want to create an Ebay seller account and part of it requires imputing your bank account number. It won't accept my bank account number. I think it's too short for their system. That's what I get for dealing with a small bank, I suppose.

I had such bad day, crying my eyes out for part of the day, that I came straight home and took a shower. While I was taking a shower, I realized I forgot to go to the gas station and get gas! So, I had to get dressed again and go back to town.

It's just one of those days. I want to crawl under the covers and come out sometime next week.

That sounds pretty rough Becky! At least you have someplace to vent. I hope that your day is better tomorrow...wasn't it Scarlett O Hara who said "Tomorrow is another day"?

I can sympathize with you. The weather here is crappy, I had 6 hours of straight class and another 3 later tonight. I got my phone bill to find out that its my roommate's account/phone line, not mine. My internet provider is charging me $25 for self installation of my internet. And I found out that someone I went to high school with dropped dead of a massive heart attack last week. He was only 18 years old :(

So, take some time tonight, listen to some Bon Jovi, chat on the message board and tell yourself that tomorrow will be better :D

Geeze Becky - sounds awful. I hope the tears weren't all job related. If your job causes you to cry too often perhaps a different job is in order. On the other hand some days are just like that - everyone has them. Sephanie's advice is good if you have the time to follow it. Relax - I'd have a glass of wine, not a bottle, a glass for relaxation - listen to some music and/or read a favorite book. That usually works for me. On the other hand, I have a friend who plays raquetball and on days like that she plays double sets and beats the hell out of the ball. It works for her :D

If it's anything like my account you could try putting 0 or 00 in front of your account number to make it the correct length.

Thanks guys!! I think today will be better. Fortunately, my tears are rarely job related, that just sometimes adds to the stress when I'm having to deal with those nasty little varmits (preschoolers) and do tests that I deem stupid and unnecessary. But I'm not the boss, nor would I want to be. LOL

Thanks for the hug, Ryan, and all the empathy from you all.
