Ghosts

So thought this is a good time of year to ask this, Has anyone ever had any ghostly encounters??? I am very cynical about it all not having experienced anything myself (not counting when we messed about with a ougie board when I were at school  )

An extremely modest man was in the hospital for a series of tests, the last of which had left his bodily systems extremely upset.

Upon making several false alarm trips to the bathroom, he decided the latest episode was another and stayed put. He suddenly filled his bed with diarrhea and was embarrassed beyond his ability to remain rational.

In a complete loss of composure he jumped out of bed, gathered up the bed sheets, and threw them out the hospital window.

A drunk was walking by the hospital when the sheets landed on him. He started yelling, cursing, and swinging his arms violently trying to get the unknown things off, and ended up with the soiled sheets in a tangled pile at his feet.

As the drunk stood there, unsteady on his feet, staring down at the sheets, a hospital security guard (barely containing his laughter) who had watched the whole incident walked up and asked, "What the heck is going on here?"

The drunk, still staring down replied: "I think I just beat the shit out of a ghost."

My mum took a picture of me standing in front of a house once and when we got the picture developed there was a shadow of an old woman dressed in clothes from the last centary in the window

i was cynical about it but ive heard and experienced some stuff thats kind of changed my mind.

we were doing a tv appearance with the band at a local tv station a couple of years ago. well the smart people in charge decided they wanted to have their station broadcasting from an old shut down mental home. if u've ever played silent hill u kind of get the picture of what this place looked like.

anyways even at that i was still cynical when the staff and crew were terlling us about strange stuff that happened etc... someone was saying one of the toilets was haunted so go upto the ones on the 2nd level. anyways nature calls and i think sack that i dont believe it so i walked into the toilet they said was haunted and str8 away the air got really really humid and heavy as if u could actually feel it around u and the hairs on my arms and neck stood up. was really really freaky. i did my business and got out of there but it did freak me out a good deal.

apparently one of the mixing rooms in abbey road studios is haunted and this is what an old tutor of mine said happened when he walked into it (not believing it either) and said that it disappeared as soon as he left the room. really wierd cos thats exactly what happened with me and i didnt tell him about my experience.

my girlfriends parents say theyve seen ghosts too. her mum is an ex nurse and apparently one night she saw an elderly nurse who she thought was the warden walking round the place and tuckign peoples sheets in. just as that happened the actual warden foned to say she'd be up in 5 minutes to check everythign was ok., there was only 3 nurses in the barracks that nite (she was an army nurse) her, the warden and her friend who was sitting right next to her at the time. this was way before the time of mobile fones and when they explained what theyd seen to the warden she said that an old nurse had died there years ago and people had claimed to have seen her. it freaked them out too.

her dad's stories even cooler. he has family way up in the north of scotland and he was up years ago and they were talkign about ghost sightings of a biker who'd died on the road upto there decades ago. without anyone saying anythign he was able to describe pretty much everything that people had said he looked like and when asked how he knew he said he'd saw the biker wavign at them years ago when they passed makign gestures for them to slow down but hadn't thought anything of it. apparently the biker stands at the side of this road and if ur going too fast he'll appear and tell u to slow down cos he died by going too fast.

I always joke about having a ghost at home  But in a sense I'm not so sure it's not for real.

The light in the corridor is always turning on and off by itself and the things there usually fall down to the floor for no apparent good reason.

And then a couple of years ago I wake up at 4:45 in the morning and I swear I could distinctly hear someone breathing, and it wasn't me!!! And then for the rest of the week I kept waking up at exactly the same time.

My house is very old, so you never know... Still, if we do have a ghost it doesn't seem to be the scary type, which is nice :P

Yes, I saw the ghost of my neighbour once, he'd been dead for days but I saw him on the street and he waved at me.

My cat also still haunts my parents' house, I always sense him when I'm over there.

There was a big outrage about it at the time. One bloke actually killed himself after watching it cos he thought he was possessed by the devil.

Wernt you scared when you saw a ghost???
