Does mud really stick?

I was told something today which was really unpleasent and I was wondering does anyone else think that mud does stick?

i realy don't know as i haven't heard what it is that you've heard. most of the time there is smoke without a fire though. maybe it's just a vicious rumour.

How about words to this effect said to you "I hope you rot in hell you selfish b*tch" Then would you say that mud sticks?

RichieW2001 11-03-2003 11:19 PM

mud sticks in what context? we talking about rumours about this person being horrible before or that you really are a selfish bitch?

Ok put it like this, if someone said that to you and then the next time they talked to you, would you say right ok carry on or would you say f*ck off and shut the door?

Let it be water off a duck's back. Keep your head held high, never stoop to their level. Not saying that you have to pretend nothing happened but just be civil and blank them for the rest. That way no one can ever hold anything against you and you keep your honour intact.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I agree.

You'd be acting in a much more amicable way than the other person. Never stoop to their level. You don't need to.

(but you can always think "B it ch" at the end of every sentence you say ;) )
