Green River Serial Killer
 

The suspected Green River serial killer plead guilty in a Seattle court today. This guy lived just about 30 min outside of Seattle :? Reading the news on this, I found some disturbing and interesting statistics.

Of course the US is the leader in numbers of serial killers ( :roll: ), but there is also an unproportional number of serial killers in the state of Washington :? Or is there?

Within a 280 Radius of Seattle is evidence of the Nations three most notorious serial Murders. The interesting fact about these serial killers as it relates to Vice Enforcement is the victims for the most part are prostates or “Victims of opportunities” as some may call them. 2002 Canadian authorities Charge Robert Pickton with 15 counts of Murder, most of his victims have a prostitution background.

2002 Spokane Washington Serial Killer Robert Yates charged with 15 counts of Murder the actual number of victims are believed to be twice that number.

2002 Seattle Washington Green River Killer Gary Ridgeway charged with 4 of the 49 victims of the Green River Killings. All of the victims are said to be associated with prostitution.

Other notorious western state serial killers include Ted Bundy who confessed to 28 murders nation wide.

Westley Allan Todd tortured, sexually molested and murdered three boys in Vancouver Washington. Dodd was involved in child pornography.

Clifford Olson Canada’s most prolific serial killer confessed to killing 8 girls and boys in British Columbia. Olson brokered a controversial $10,000 a body deal with police to disclose location of buried bodies.

Kenneth Bianchi “Hillside Strangler” of Bellingham Washington confessed to killing two college students in Washington and was linked to as many as 10 Murders in California. Bianchi victims included prostitutes.

Why so many killers in the Pacific Northwest, some would ponder it is the wide open area, multi jurisdictions, rural law enforcement, the list of excuses goes on and on, Other criminal investigators would contend, its not that the Northwest breeds serial killers, the northwest just makes it harder to catch them.


To top it all off, the Green River serial killer was granted $1.9 million in defense money!!!!!!!! :evil: :twisted: :evil: :twisted: That is MY tax money there - WA doesn't have enough money to pay our teachers appropriately, but we can spend $1.9 million on a serial killer so he doesn't get a death sentence???????

:shock: I'm never moving to the northwest. I never knew it was so full in serial killer history.

I can't believe that they're paying that much just to so that he won't be put to death. that's a crazy amount to save a SERIAL KILLER.

:shock: And I was acutally thinking of moving out to Washington State someday. :( This saddens me. I didn't know such a beautiful place was wrecked with such horror.

I do find it a bit weird that there is an unproportional number of serial killers out here. Didn't even realize that some of them are still at large :shock:

Maybe it is the rain, after all Seattle has the highest suicide rate of the country too :?
