Up, up and away :)
Things have been quite shocking for me recently and a few people know how difficult I have been at certain times online and offline.
I've just recieved the best piece of news for quite a while and that is come February 23rd I will be employed with the PGL, and i'm sure i will have a blast whilst there. Has anyone had a pretty crap time recently and have things now changed for you? |
Congratulations Yvonne!
:smilecol: One of the only nice things that has happened to me lately, is that I got to sleep in today! :D |
oh oh!
they offered me a job last year but I had to turn it down at the last minute sadly, but housemate chris went its crap money (and you'll spend most of it in the bar!) and hard work, but you'll have a great time with the people there (according to him) :D |
Good im glad you got the job. Very pleased for you.
|
congrats again Yvonne!
But, what does PGL stand for? (I think i have asked this once before) |
Hard work, i am prpepared! Crap money, nevermind!
The one i will be based at has an on-site pub so that will do me nicely  |
congrats on the job!
the last few days for me have been near hell, but hopefully things will get better. |

Congratulations, Yvonne! And let me echo the "what does PGL" stand for?
As for rough times, yep, been there, done that and made it out alive, figuratively speaking. Just over 2 years ago I lost my job. It was the end of a already rough period and though it was a relief in one sense, I feared I'd never get a decent paying full-time job with benefits ever again. Everything changed though in June and I'm now happily employed again with a great company and great co-workers. So there really is light at the end of the tunnel, but sometimes the tunnel is really, really long. |
Congratulations - and translate for the dumb Yanks too :D
