no I have to say that I am quite ok unless they are several hours late ... I am a very cool person LOL

are you very demanding toward your friends ? (like they have to fit to what you ask for a friend to be ) is that question clear ?

spunkywho 05-04-2005 07:37 PM

good question - I just discussed that with a friend.

I used to want my friends to be and act in certain ways, which naturally eliminated a lot of friends.

Now, I try to accept my friends as they are --- even if it isn't the way I'd act/react/handle things. Had to change my expectations though. In the end, though, that is exactly what I want from my friends, to accept me exactly the way I am, even if it isn't exactly along the lines of what they think I should be.

what do you think?

allmike 05-04-2005 07:51 PM

Exactly!!!. I don't mind changing my expectation towards my friends (which i always do) as long they remain friend.....

V Do u talk to ur friends regularly by any means?

spunkywho 05-04-2005 08:24 PM

I have very close friends I only talk to once a year. We don't need to talk more often - we still remain close.

Do you think you need to talk to friends all the time in order to keep them?

Ooooo.... you promise?

No, you don't have to talk to friends all the time to keep them. There are people I can't talk to or see for a while due to our schedules and we pick up wherever we left off. I think that's a sign of real friendship.

V How long have you known your best friend?

PS: Mimi... check the link. It's working now.

I have various best friends - one for that, one for this, different occasions, different best friends, I guess.

One of my closest friends (who I do not talk to regularly, but share tons of stuff with), I've known since first grade, but we weren't friends all this time. We lost touch and found each other again, I suppose.

Do you have one best friend you share everything with, or different friends for different purposes?

Becky 05-04-2005 09:27 PM

Several different "best friends."

Would it be hard for you to pick a maid of honor if you got married because you have more than one best friend?

in that sense - yes.

However, I did not have that problem back when I got married, cause only one was willing/able to do the trip to the US :)

have you ever been a maid of honor/best man?
