V Do u like summer?

Thomas Anderson 06-11-2005 03:12 AM

I do, but I'd prefer to be closer to the equator, or at the very least somewhere that has nice weather. We do appear to be starting a good summer here for once though so maybe I can see how it turns out first.

Where would be your ideal holiday destination?

Becky 06-11-2005 04:23 AM

Alaska

If you're single, what setting would you most like for a wedding?

Thomas Anderson 06-11-2005 04:40 AM

I'm not really into the whole wedding thing, to me the love between two people is enough without requiring a lavish party to validate it. Really I think it is quite an exhibisionist idea because it does have the aspect of "look at us" to it, when to me it should just be between the two people about how much they love each other, regardless of what others think of it

Do you believe in weddings as a form of commitment?

I believe marriage is the committment. The wedding is a celebration of the committment.

V How many weddings have you attended?

Thomas Anderson 06-11-2005 05:40 AM

Two, one being my aunties wedding when I was about 10 (and I had a really silly outfit) and then my uncles in Cyprus in 2000, which was cool as he and I went on a jet ski a few hours before lol

I'm not saying that I don't think people who get married love each other more or less than those who don't marry, it's just that to me it's only a piece of paper and a ring on your hand, it shouldn't make you feel any different about that person. If you feel you need it to tell that person you love them then do it, but for me I think it would be something I'd feel with that person and not something I'd need to shout out to the world
