What comes in mind is: Memento, The Usual Suspects, The Gift, Frailty, Die Hard, The Matrix, Labyrinth.

Yours? Other than The Matrix and Star Wars, that is.

Thomas Anderson 03-14-2005 12:53 AM

Well I do have Memento, The Gift and Die Hard amongst my dvd collection, although they aren't my favourites. Some of my favourites, other than Star Wars and The Matrix, are Back To The Future Trilogy, The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, The Lethal Weapon Series, Independence Day, The Hannibal Series, The Airplane films, The Waynes World Films, The Austin Powers Films, I could really go on for pages.

What are some of your favourite albums?

Alex 03-14-2005 12:58 AM

Pearl Jam - Ten and Vs., The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream, U2 - Achtung Baby, The Doors - Strange Days, Oasis - (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, Nirvana - Nevermind and In Utero, Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf

And yours?

Thomas Anderson 03-14-2005 01:36 AM

Bon Jovi - Keep The Faith, These Days, Crush, Slippery When Wet: Queen - A Night At The Opera, A Day At The Races, Greatest Hits I and II: U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind: Bruce Springsteen - The Essential: Robbie Williams - Life Thru A Lens, Escapology: Guns N' Roses - Greatest Hits: Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way, Californication, Greatest Hits

There's lots more but it's a bit late to think now, lol

Jim Bon Jovi 03-14-2005 01:57 AM

not very well known if you're not into james and i can't even really put into words but it just kinda takes me somewhere. I can put it on, lie back and feel like I'm flying.

V make sense?

Thomas Anderson 03-14-2005 01:59 AM

Yes

Wouldn't it be funny if giraffes could fly?

Becky 03-14-2005 07:06 AM

No. Imagine the droppings.

V If giraffes could fly, would you want to take a ride?

UKjovi 03-14-2005 10:56 AM

No

Jim Bon Jovi 03-14-2005 04:11 PM

I'm on NTL broadband. I dunno if you can get ti everywhere though.

what do u think about my airline post in NBJ?

UKjovi 03-14-2005 04:22 PM

I think its very interesting but funny at the same time that the Americas think its ok to be this size when it is quite clearly dangerous for them

Do you think that Americans should cut down on the amount that they eat?

Becky 03-14-2005 04:58 PM

In general, yes. But it's not always the amount you eat. I starved myself in high school to the point of making myself extremely sick. I killed my metabolism. I recently spent a solid 4 months exercisng no less than 30 minutes a day and no less than 5 days a week (often 45 minutes to an hour a day). I always eat very little and I STILL don't loose weight. The assumption that people have weight problems because they're lazy and eat too much is so off base. If it were a matter of eating and exercize, I'd be a size 2. But exercizing that much for that long with no results only threw me into depression.

Is the world too focused on weight?

Thomas Anderson 03-14-2005 05:03 PM

Yes, whereas they should be focused more on health. Someone can still be quite large and healthy, but if someone eats nothing but fast food and is extremely obese (not just overweight but obese) it is their fault, and they shouldn't complain when they have to pay extra for seats etc.

Are you overweight for your size? (calculate your bmi here http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm)

UKjovi 03-14-2005 05:11 PM

no i dont think so, i would like to add that a freind of mine called phil is very over weight and has tried everything under the sun but still remains at 30 stone although he is properbly much fitter than i am so i do agree with youy becky

am i too thin at 5'10 and weighing 11 stone?

Thomas Anderson 03-14-2005 05:44 PM

No, as long as you're healthy. According the the BMI calculator you would be in the middle of the normal bracket.

I'm 6'2 and weight something between 15 and 16 stone (it fluctuates a lot), so I come in on the overweight bracket according to that calculator, but I'm not unhealthy.

What would your ideal height and weight be?

UKjovi 03-14-2005 05:58 PM

I would go back up to 6 feet again like how i was before my accident weight i'm not so fussed but it does piss me off that i lost height

Some days do you find it hard to work?

Becky 03-14-2005 06:14 PM

Thomas Anderson 03-14-2005 09:15 PM

My name...is Neo

I should perhaps have used that when I signed up, but I thought that perhaps a longer name was more noticeable. Maybe I should have a trail period with the name Neo, if it isn't taken already.

Would you ever change your name, and if so what to?

Alex 03-14-2005 09:19 PM

No. I like Alex.
