I'd expect everyone to assume I'd pick names like Thomas, Luke, Leia, Anakin, Marty and such :P but I'm not that mean as to enforce such things on a child.

I haven't thought about it because as much as I do want to have kids (obviously not me personally :P) I wouldn't even think of names until after the baby was born and I could hold it in my arms. I don't think trying to choose a name for someone I haven't met yet is right, I'd rather see them first and then think of a name that would suit them.

How many boys and/or girls would you like?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 01:00 AM

I thought about that too..I actualy dreamt that one night! Had the name Megan picked out but when I looked at her she wasnt a Megan :)

I dont care if its a boy or a girl. I just want one :)

Do you think you would like your children breastfed?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 01:02 AM

I only have slight man-boobs, so I don't think they are big enough  seriously though I think it would be more natural, no extra added stuff they put in the bought stuff, but only if the mother was willing and able I guess

Would you breast-feed?

Becky 07-26-2005 01:04 AM

Probably not. My friends who have done it say it's horrible.

Does that make me a bad mother?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 01:06 AM

No, just that you don't want to do it...plus it means you don't have to be the one to get up during the night to feed the baby

Would you give up a career you loved to raise your child(ren)?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 01:07 AM

Yes. Without a doubt. I know I would be doing the right thing.

Would you?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 01:10 AM

I've always wanted a career, thats why I'm at Uni, to hopefully get not just a job that pays the bills but something I would really love to do....if I achieve that I would not have to give it a moments thought to give it all up to raise a child. I couldn't sit at work, no matter how good and enjoyable, if I had a child at home that I couldn't be with.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Becky 07-26-2005 01:17 AM

I've learned not to make that kind of prediction from making them 10 or more years ago! ;)

Where do you see me in ten years? LOL

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 01:23 AM

Well I don't know you enough to make any sort of prediction lol

When did you last get angry?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 01:37 AM

Today

You?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 01:39 AM

A couple of days ago I think, I don't get angry a lot

What last made you angry?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 02:02 AM

First work, then my ex, then work again :)

Do you wonder why glue doesnt stick to the inside of the tube?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 02:06 AM

Yes, especially super-glue

Do you ever wonder how they make so many tons of metal fly? (planes lol)

Irishshin 07-26-2005 02:15 AM

Yes...but not too much or I will be too scared to go in one!

Do you ever wonder how they make huge boats float?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 02:16 AM

I think that is more simple and I can understand that more than I do planes

Have you ever done any extreme things, like sky-diving or bunjee jumping and such?

When I was younger yeah I did, but after a little research into aerodynamics I understood that it's quite a simple process providing all the design parameters are correct.

Glue/super clue only sticks when it's dry by the way, and it needs to be exposed to the air in order to do so. Therefore, glue will stick to the inside of the bottle of you leave the top off.

What are the common things that puzzle you?

I understand a lot about computers but I still find it hard to understand how a machine can receive a binary string and know what specific type of code it is and how to process it

Do you understand computers like that?

UKjovi 07-26-2005 10:23 AM

god no , i'm still learning stuff

Do you remember your 10th bIrthday?

UKjovi 07-26-2005 10:24 AM

Do you remember your 10th bIrthday?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 11:13 AM

The only thing I can remember was how excited I was that I was getting into the double figures :) Oh and of course I was getting presents! :P

Have you ever been to a wildlife park?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 01:25 PM

No. There's a pretty big one nearby, when it's really calm we can sometimes hear the lions from here lol I don't mind those but can no longer tolerate zoos enough to go to one again

What do you think about zoos?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 01:54 PM

I hate them. I hate animals being caged up....but I love to see the animals...hate to see them caged...

Theres wildlife park near here too, I love it there.

Would you like have a baby monkey? (not physcially!)

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 01:59 PM

I suppose so

Would you want a pet squirrel?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 02:14 PM

Yes. I think I could train it.

Would you like a pet Octopus...and would you see if it could fit through a small cylinder tube? (without being cruel)

I think they can.

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 03:31 PM

Not really lol

Do you have any pets?

Becky 07-26-2005 04:06 PM

I had ten dogs and 8 cats. One dog had a heat stroke last Friday and my kitten died from anesthesia yesterday.

Do you?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 06:15 PM

I have a dog, a budgie and 2 fish

How many pets would you have at most?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 06:38 PM

I have none right now but would love a dog & a cat and maybe a ferret would be fun.
Oh and I would adore to have a Chinchilla!

lol :) I probably would never get that many but I would like to!

Do wear support bands?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 06:59 PM

I don't know what they are so probably not lol

What are support bands?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 07:02 PM

Em..its probably the wrong name for them. You know those bands that people wear around their wrist, like for cancer and all that. And they are different colours :)

I'm so good at explaining things I know :P

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 07:06 PM

I don't know what I'd call them but no I don't wear any. I don't think that it would help anything.

Do you think it helps anything?

Rob 07-26-2005 07:17 PM

WTF... This topic is screwed.

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 07:29 PM

All the topics on here are like this, because there are so many posts the last ones don't show except in the Topic Review box below the reply box

Irishshin 07-26-2005 07:40 PM

Well if you buy it then you are supporting it the charity so yes I think it helps :) Plus I like the. They look nice :) But I would never ever wearone of the Nike ones or ones that that mean anything.

Yeah that really bugged me, that topic is all screwed!!

Do you drink iced tea?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 08:00 PM

Nope

Do you kill insects or try to capture them and release them outside? lol

Irishshin 07-26-2005 08:11 PM

If its a moth and it flies at me its dead! ...actually if its a moth someone else has to come in and get rid of it since I will have run out of the room more than likely screaming :) Spiders I might force them to crawl onto a book or something and release them.

What makes you squeamish?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 08:14 PM

I'm not squeamish

Are you?

Irishshin 07-26-2005 08:24 PM

Yes

Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?

Thomas Anderson 07-26-2005 08:28 PM

It's a trick question. There is no Santa therefore no reindeer :P
