Have you ever tried the cold wax bands ?

UKjovi 02-27-2006 05:24 PM

No

what are they?

jess 02-27-2006 06:12 PM

Quote:

There are "hot" and "cold" waxes. With hot waxing, a thin layer of heated wax is applied to the skin in the direction of the hair growth. The hair becomes embedded in the wax as it cools and hardens. The wax is then pulled off quickly in the opposite direction of the hair growth, taking the uprooted hair with it.

Cold waxes work similarly. Strips precoated with wax are pressed on the skin in the direction of the hair growth and pulled off in the opposite direction. The strips come in different sizes for use on the eyebrows, upper lip, chin, and bikini area.
:)
Simple, so cheap and it works !!! :D

Thomas Anderson 02-27-2006 11:34 PM

I usually manage with about 6 hours, I'd prefer 7 or 8 really, though last night I got less than 5 :(

Now that you've started this 'reading' innuendo, how will any of us ever know when you actually mean reading? (ie, pick up a book and read it lol)

Do you know about the new Coca Cola with orange ??

Thomas Anderson 02-28-2006 08:31 PM

No. I only like Caffeine Free/Diet Coke anyway

Do you like Coke or Diet Coke more? (Diet uses sweeteners instead of sugar, so is actually sweeter apparently)

Rob 02-28-2006 09:25 PM

Diet, normal Coke is too sweet. Pepsi Max is probably my favourate Cola drink.

What's your favourate musical instrument besides the guitar?

VanJovi 02-28-2006 11:33 PM

Drums - I even attempted to take a few lessons years ago.

Do you play any musical instrument?

Rob 02-28-2006 11:45 PM

Heh cool. :) Well I'm a novice bassist and a beginner guitarist. I can only play a few songs. It's something I would like to be really good at but I don't have the time, or the desire to practise for long hours.

Is there anything you would like to be really good at but don't have the time or desire to practise?

VanJovi 03-01-2006 12:03 AM

I wish I could have taken more seriously all the years I spent taking guitar lessons, I did it just as an obligation. When I was younger I wanted to be really good at playing tennis but didn't have the time and the £££ to do it. Now, I only would like to be really good and more fluent in other languages. Actually I'm considering taking some Italian lessons, starting in a couple of weeks.

Has the year started in the way you were hoping?

Rob 03-01-2006 12:08 AM

In many ways yes. I'm hoping to meet a special someone though this year, which hasn't quite happened yet. It's still early though. :)

You?
