I have to go back to work.....
 

Well, my vacation is over and now I have to go back to work today. I'm not looking forward to it at all. :cry: :cry:

Thanksgiving is soon. Will you get time off for it? If so, there's something to look forward to. :)

That probably is a good average. Some businesses only get the 5 basic holidays: New Years, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Some will add in Martin Luther King, Good Friday.

Then the post office takes off everything from Christmas to Columbus Day. LOL So, yeah, it probably does average to about 10.

I work for a school system, so I have no complaints about days off. My contract is for 200 days a year.

Working for the schools is a wonderful thing! A few days for Thanksgiving, two weeks for Christmas, life is good.

I know Mouse ... And let's not forgot the 2 summermonths :lol: :lol:

Nevermind just over 6 weeks to the xmas hols!!! :)

They give us holidays because they know we'd all quit if we had to work with kids constantly.

This year, we're getting the whole week of Thanksgiving off. That's new for us. It used to be 2 and a half days, then three. Now five. But it meant we had to come back to work 2 days earlier.

That's pretty cool. We only get Thanksgiving Monday off up here.
