Are you good at small talk???
 

A new girls just started at our office, she seems really nice but I havnt really said alot too her. I should go over to her and say "Where do you live?", "where did you work before?" or "are you enjoying it here?" but basically im really crap at that and I always wait for someone to talk to me first.

So how good are you at that sort of thing?

i'm ok you could ask her what her cup size is :lol: :P

Might make her laugh :lol: you could start by asking her if she wants to go out at lunch time take her to your cafe or something

Oh my god. I dont want to be her best friend date im saying that im rubbish at talking to people I dont know!! Im like it with everybody.

I'm the master of small talk. Just bite the bullet and introduce yourself. I'm sure she'd really appreciate it, which will make you feel good too!

Im not that good on confidence but thanks Thanks Russ :)

I open up depend on the other person, if that person is very talkitve, i also start talking and craking jokes. But if that person won't respond to my conversation then i won't go too deep.

I always start the conversation if a new person starts at work (I'm supposed to, I'm the Boss) but if I don't get much of a response I don't mind silence at work either :D
