One thing that I have noticed is that when BJ released Crush and Bounce, it seemed that while it was for the old fans, and the new fans, the type of music that was released was primarily to attract new fans.

But with This Left Feels Right, the possibility of the box set, and the Wembly DVD, it seems that BJ are catering for their old fans!!!

Please explain how Crush was catering to the Britney generation.....especially considering most of those songs were written well before Christina, Britney, and any of the Boy Bands were popular.

According to BJ history Jon wrote most of those songs before 1998. He wrote 30 that they demo'd in 1998 and about 15 after. I am not sure which songs were which but many of the Crush songs were written when we were still in the era of Gangsta Rap and Alternative.

It's not about writing. More about producing. They DID hire Max Martin to produce Crush. Max Martin was a 26-year old guy who produced boybands before.

Why would they hire a 26-year old pop producer? The only reason is to help them update their sound in a way it would be suited for pop fans' ears. So they could bring some young blood into their fan base. And that's what they did with IML.

Well then, now we are back to when they were written. Max martin did not produce Crush.....Luke Ebbin did. You don't think It's My Life fits with the mold that they established in 1986? They said that they wrote it to be an arena anthem to follow up Prayer. It evolved into what became It's My Life. How does that make Crush a Boyband album? You are going to need more than the name of a producer they didn't use to convince me that they were trying to hit the Britney generation.

Nowhere in my post I said that Crush was a boyband record. I said it was produced in a way so it would appeal to pop fans.
