There are some songs that are just amazing, some that are so-so and then other ones that make you wonder what the hell they were thinking when they wrote that!

I thought that I should vote for how they write overall. I went for "good" because, like people have already discussed, the band have great songs such as Dry County with deep meaning, etc. Then there's songs from the earlier albums (and some would say the very recent albums) which serve their purpose as being great stadium rock songs, but they just don't compare to the time, thought and effort that has gone into writing songs like DC.
