Yeah, everyone that asks for peace and human rights respect, in a country where the majority supports a President that goes to war for oil, does it for money and positive press coverage...

"Our country is founded on a sham: our forefathers were slave-owning rich white guys who wanted it their way. So when I see the American flag, I go, 'Oh my God, you're insulting me.' That you can have a gay parade on Christopher Street in New York, with naked men and women on a float cheering, 'We're here, we're queer!' -- that's what makes my heart swell. Not the flag, but a gay naked man or woman burning the flag. I get choked up with pride."

-Janeane Garofalo

Okay Janeane, whatever you say...

Really? Keep watching the news. Propaganda goes both ways and infests everything.

Bruce Springsteen

"To me, they're [the Dixie Chicks] terrific American artists expressing American values by using their American right to free speech. For them to be banished wholesale from radio stations, and even entire radio networks, for speaking out is un-American."

"I don't know what happens next, but I do want to add my voice to those who think that the Dixie Chicks are getting a raw deal. I send them my support."

AMEN /Freedom of speech, always. No black lists, no more McCarthy/

Propaganda does go both ways.
Still recent polls (though I'm aware they can be part of propaganda) show he'd win presidential elections if they were happening today.

And why bash Jen Aniston when she says:
"The past few years of conflict mean that yet another generation of Israelis and Palestinians will grow up in hatred," reads a statement from. We cannot allow that to happen."

BTW I have a questions:

How did the american people react when Bush and friends admited they had justified a war with lies?

I guess we really won't know the answer to that until the next election. Anything is possible, so I wouldn't dismiss it, but there are a great many people who are not happy with the way this country is being run. In the end, it depends upon who the Democrats choose to represent them.

tsk, tsk.....peace and human rights respect, you mean like the kind Saddam was offering his people. You have an opinion based on the propaganda you wholeheartedly swallow......and your opinion is no more valid than mine. Oh, and as far as that positive press coverage.....yes, Bush and the US have been getting a lot of that lately.
