Is MONEY ever be enough.......???
I heard so many people saying if i had enough money i would have done that or this. But when get that much money they still think that is not enough. Is there anything called 'enough money'???
I personaly think no, the more u get the more u want. As u get big salary ur expence will be big also, u'll be having that kind of lifestyle that u sometime wonder how ur living without all these luxury. And also u get more problem too. I never seen anyone saying i had enough money. I think money is the evil that God gave to test us. You should be very careful while wanting for more money. |

I.e. Without a salary whilst working, you will become demotivated - i.e. not want to do the job anymore. Hence it is necessary to enable us to work & hence to make the world go round. Increased slary etc.. is also a motivator. It fulfills our 'status' needs & encourages us to work harder. Thus making the world go round faster. I don't think it is evil, however it does drive some evil people. Power is more evil than money. Although with money you get power. Interesting question for a Sunday afternoon!! |

So the question is does money bring you happiness???
I think money buys you choices you are able to choose the kind of life you wnat for yourself more easily. But no amount of money would buy you say good health and no I dont think it buys you love either. As mike said Money does make the world go round!! |

I find the happiest people in life are those who don't worry too much about how much money they have, and don't have a burning passion that they must get more of it. |
I think it depends on the person. Money is important. You need it to survive. Unfortunately, our society has placed a huge emphasis on money and financial status. Everyone wants bigger and better than they have. Some people will never have enough no matter how much they have. I have an aunt like that. But her husband is just the opposite. You ask him what he needs and he tells you nothing, that he has all he wants. Personally, I want to make enough money to live comfortably. For me that means a nice home and car and enough money where I don't have to worry about my finances. Although, if I ever won the lottery, I wouldn't turn the money down. Money makes the world go around. But I think how you look at the importance of money is what's important.

haha, herzberg's two factor theorem!
in fact, all motivational theorists have suggested that the role of money in people's lives isn't simply to put food on the table but that it also helps with higher order needs such self esteem and so on. i also agree with allwyn's view in that you spend up to your limit. somebody who earns £200000 a year will spend it because that is what their lifestyle dictates. some people will never be staisfied with any amount of money so i guess it's true to suggest that money doesn't buy happiness (it certainly helps though!) |
Mike stop using management theory or ill have to hunt u down and gough ur eyes out for management is my arch enemy just now.
does money brin gu happiness, itself maybe not but put it this way. would u be happier scrubbing toilets and hardly being able to eat or living in a yacht off the coast of malibu? as carli sed it opens up choices that can make u happier. and like it or not theres noly a certain point where loving ur job goes out of the window. my brother wants to be a music pormotoer and he does it to a certain extent just now. hes got this idea that he'll be self employed n all that and he does it because he genuinely loves doing it. i on the other hand dont have enough time for the arseholkes in bands so i got out of my music course and im now doing accountancy. point being that theres not enough money in mousic for the vast majority of people and sooner or later my bros goign to have to realise this and get somethign that'll give him a mortgage and a decent salary. |
