Why?
 

Why has every Bon Jovi studio album been limited to 12 or less songs? I want a legitimate answer! I just don't get it. :?

cause they need songs for the box set ;)

no really wonderd about that myself, the guys talk about having written over 30 songs and than they only give us 12 plus a few b-sides thats unfair :(

It makes it more fun to search through thousands in downloadable machines to find "rare" and unreleased songs. :lol: Treasure Hunt! :D

quality, not quantity. i'd rather have 100 these days than 1 stripped by christina (which has 19 songs on it)

True, but it starts to look like that there's some kind of theory behind releasing 12 songs each time since Faith.

More songs=More filler tracks. Something I've discovered from listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.... they have albums that are 16 or 17 tracks long, and some of the songs kick ass, but then there's inevitable filler as well that come from having more tracks

Not faith.. Jersey... But it makes me wonder, because they record so many songs for an album but only give us 12 when there is a bunch of other good songs that could be on the record. Some bands release 16, I would be happy with anything more than 12.
