So, who deserved this award?

I'm voting for Stacy's mom. I think this song sounds refreshing.

I don't know the No Doubt song, but I really like Unwell in addition to Misunderstood. I like the way both songs are written, but I like Jon's voice better than Rob Thomas'. Nonetheless, both are really good songs. Unwell is my favorite Matchbox 20 song. Misunderstood is one of my favorites from Bounce.

The Eagles song is nice, but kind of drab and Stacy's Mom sounds like it was rescued from 1985. However, Stacy's Mom is by Fountains of Wayne who are nominated for Best Newcomer. They'll probably win and never be heard from again.

I've never heard the Eagles' song. And I don't particularly like any of the others. I'll say Bon Jovi should win, not because the song deserves it, but because I think the band deserves some recognition for once.
