Do You Believe in Witchcraft???
 

Hi this post maybe ridiculous to some of you but I just wanted to see what you might think, or if someone knows something about this that might help me.

I've never been one to belive in witchcraft or that a person can read my mind or see my future or get the soul out of his body to come into somebody elses house or anything to that effect.

About 3 years ago I had a friend who was very deep into practicing that kind of stuff, and he was getting into voodoo, it was creeppy the way he talked about the moon and the sacrifices he made with his soul to the god that burned within the earth and stuff like that, he and his pals used to invite me to some kind of ceremony they always had on halloween, (I never went).Anyway he died about a year ago, and about 2 weeks before he died I had these dreams that he had commited suicide (different scenarios in each one, and there were about 4 different dreams), on one he hanged himself , on another he shot himself, and he died going of a bridge in his car at 4 am.There was no alcohol in his vein and he wasn't using drugs, the cops said maybe he fell asleep while driving, but something tells me that he drove himself off that bridge because he gave me a bunch of cd's that he had the week before, like he was cleaning his closet before he left somehow.

My girlfriend is very religious and she tells me that all I have to do is have faith in God and all will turn out all right.But I have trouble sleeping, i hear things. There is another friend i have that used to practice this sort of things, that said to me that once this thing picks you it has trouble letting you go.sometimes I used to see shadows and hear things outside my window, so i don't sleep in my room anymore, I watch tv until my eyes close on me, I have this dreams that some shadow is chasing me and wants to kill me, and i keep running but I still can't get away, and these dreams keep happening it's like I'm going crazy or something.I deny believing in this because I don't want to sink any deeper into the world that got my friend so depressed to think that suicide was a solution to his problems.

How would a Psychiatrist see this, would they send me to a sanitarium or something??Does anybody know anything about witchcraft??or voodoo??
Anybody ever experience something of this nature???

Thanks! Now I won't sleep tonight! :x :wink: I totally see what you are getting at though... That would scare me! It all might be a coincidence and you might be taking it too far. Calm down and just let it go away. I am sure it is all in your head. That is the best advice I can give.

The only thing I know is that voodoo is not good witchcraft, I actually think it is classed under black magic. Very dangerous stuff. I believe in both (white and black magic) and black magic is one thing that I would never get involved with.

See if you can get in touch with a medium, maybe they could help you with the voices and the things you hear. You could have had a curse put on you and that needs to be lifted. I don't mean to scare you, but these are all possibilities.

It could all be innocent as well, try remembering your dreams and invest in some good dream books. Not all "bad" dreams necessarily mean bad things.

Yes Tash is right, Voodoo is black magic and therefor dangerous. Being under the curse of something is possible and my advice is that you seek for help if this continues any longer since it's not exactly a nice way to live. Since you were one of the last persons he contacted before his death it could be that you've taken some of his bad energy and therefor a bit of his curse too.

Maybe you should go and write down your dreams each time you wake up, even if it's in the middle of the night, just to check if there's some kind of pattern in them. That might help you find the answer to your dreams and maybe to his death too.

A psychiatrist will take you serious since it's a big step to go to one, and therefor he'll take you serious. Such people know a lot of things about anything, it's not just about finding yourself back etcetera, but there's a good possibility he or she will know how to solve your problem as well.

I don't really believe in the occult, but I'm open to convincing. I'm certain there are forces beyond our understanding, but if the can be tapped into and controlled by humans, why aren't more people doing it? If it was true that voodoo and the occult caused supernatural phenomenon, why wouldn't we have heard more about it? If its so powerful, why is it relatively unheard of?

Hey thanx for all the replies, last night after I posted the topic the power went out, so I couldn't continue to post and I am under just 3 hours of sleep (god the night is long!!!!)

Maybe there is something to these dreams, but they are all practically the same, there's a shadow and it's triyng to kill me, can't see anything but a shadow and the bright knife under some kind of cape that it's wearing.(can't even se it's ****ing hand!!!)all I know is that I try to run but I can't it keeps catching up!! , and by the time it reaches out to kill me I wake up all sweating and almost out of breath like I was really running!!

Who should I contact that would help me!!
How do I know what is white magic or what is black magic??
How do I identify the two??

Who do you contact? Your best bet would be a psychiatrist or even better would be a psychic or a medium. They would be more in tune with paranormal things.

White magic is good magic. Literally. White magic is what Wiccas are, they are in touch with nature and the spells are for good. Black magic, like voodoo, is bad.. very bad. Black magic usually uses curses or bad spells, using magic to improve your situation (material way) is not a good idea or putting a curse on someone will always backfire. Voodoo is extremely bad, creating zombies, curses and so forth. You can identify them now I think!! Black magic is bad, because it is usually at the expense of someone else, you wish someone bad luck. You know the saying what goes around comes around? Well, think of it like that. Using magic to better your situation can attract bad spirits and energy. By the way, stay away from Ouija boards too!
