The TRL Interview

Alright, watching the TRL interview was great and I got lucky cause I had thought it was on Wednesday and just happened to be at a friend's house who was it on when I was going between classes at the college. Plus my friend just happened to be in new york that day and got to see the show (that lucky bastard) and act like a gitty 12 year old MTV teen (just as we all would have), hahaha, what fun. But is it me, or did Jon kinda seem like a jackass on there? He seemed to not want to be there at all. His posture and tone etc...Does he dislike MTV or something, cause if he does I DEFINITLY understand. But still, it's just a 2 minute interview, and the VJ does most of the talking. Also, that dumbass VJ (whoever he is) with the fro didn't seem to know his BJ stats too well as he kept reading the card when he spoke, but Jon...I dunno, just seemed kinda like an arrogent playboy up there and that was it. He didn't really say ANYTHING. Again, if he hates MTV, more power to him, it is aweful garbage. But, did anyone else feel get a similar vibe?

You all can rip me a new one if you want for saying this, but it seemed obvious to me.

Bounce is coming....droooool

I can't tell you, 'cause I haven't seen it  ... But I totally understand if he doesn't like MTV/TRL 'cause I don't!!!

I got the impression Jon was kind of taken aback for a moment with the stupid question (how is Bounce different than your other albums). I think he did well answering and sounded lighthearted. He joked about the static electricity compared to hairspray and that God was at the videoshoot protecting them. I didn't think he came across as arrogant. I did notice his posture while walking, but it made me wonder if he knee was bothering him. I thought it was more a physical thing than a mental thing, ya'know. If you caught the bit before he was on, he was making funny faces at the camera, so I didn't get the "I don't want to be here" vibe at all.

I didn't get the don't want to be there vibe, but he didn't seem as light hearted as he has been in some of the other interviews.

I got that arrogant vibe too. He definitely was not the JBJ you'd see at a Letterman or Leno show.
