some important things 'bout BonJovi?

hi everybody...
i'm a new member of here so i do not know if u talk about the things i will tell or not...
i've just bought BOUNCE...their existence is enough for me, but i'm not satisfied with the music...that's not what i expected from them...for example Richie did not play as he has done in THESE DAYS. i was waiting great solos from him; that's not his capacity. he would have done better than this...
i wanna say that bounce is better than crush because in bounce the songs are most close to their style...but i'm wondering why they couldnt make a song just like Livin On A Prayer, keep the faith or these days...these are legends but in recent years i have heard simple songs like everyday, it's my life or say it isnt so, etc...things get more electronical...talking boxes, new guitar tones, etc. the only thing that did not change and that make me glad is about the lyrics, and singing of Jon...he always does the best. the best frontman in the world...
and the similarities of the songs...
all about loving you=never say goodbye
love me back to life=always(the same chords at the beginning)
bounce=it's my life
A falling in their form is easily seen from the album of these days. these days is their peak, their top and their best. they talked about falling in these days and falling has begun after that...
in the concerts the playlist consists of living on a prayer, always, keep the faith and a few of their old songs. they even dont play more from crush or bounce except for the pumping songs like it's my life, bounce and undivided. as these days are their best, every song in it is great...
i'm waiting better than this...
another thing is why jon and richie need help for songs. they did these days together, but in crush and bounce they take the help of another musicians...what's the reason?Arent jon and richie enough? :?:
the only reason i bought the album is my loyalty, not the performance they've shown...but if they decide to make an album like THESE DAYS; i will be satisfied...:))))

I'm more than happy that it didn't become a second These Days. Bounce really rocks, it is a great album. These days was just boring as an album even though I like some of the songs on it's own.

I love Richie's heavy guitar riffs on Bounce.

These Days for sure isn't their best album.

I have to disagree with you SamboChris. In my opinion I think These Days is their best album ever. Everything was spot on for that album..lyrics,music and most of all passion. They lost that passion with Crush but I think that they have got it back with Bounce....this album is brilliant!!!
Everyone is saying they want another TD,KTF or whatever...it would be no good to get another of these albums. Bounce is out there on it's own and I love it!!! Bring on the tour!! :D
Just my opinion!! :D

Their best albums IMHO are New Jersey and Keep The Faith. I also find Bounce weaker than These Days, but by far much better than Crush.

I just think itīs got plenty of ballads.

Each album is different, if they were the same , then the public would moan, not another these days weve already had one just like it, same sound etc etc.

Time is ever changing, so does the music, and the audience, it has to grow in order to survive. I see the postives and the negatives in each album.

I agree with Sambo-Chris, tough I know Iīm pretty lonely in here to do it... I donīt like These Days at all. Bon Jovi shall play the arena rock they make best in the world. Actually I find TD, togehter with Fahrenheit as the worst album ever. Just my opinion folks!

Why do you all talk about them a) like you actually know them and b) like they're TV characters. How can you say "they lost their passion"? You're sitting in your room, listening to a cd, analyzing people you don't know and critiquing what they put a lot of themselves into. You may have your opinion about something but what gives you the right to so nonchalantly dismiss what is this band's heart and soul? They are obviously pleased with the record... it's amazing that some of us want more no matter what. If YOU are disappointed in the album, it doesn't live up to YOUR expectations. I for one love it.

Umm... I think it's just as legitimate to question their passion as it is to say that they haven't lost it, since we don't know them any more than you do...

In any case, I think the previous poster is at least partially true, These Days, New Jersey and Slippery all showed a band at ease with themselves, whereas Crush, and to some extent Bounce, both show a band becoming more concerned with a target audience than their music, and writing songs for a demographic, rather than themselves.

For their next album, BJ should ignore what we think, ignore the prevailing trends, kick out their co-writers and get back to their roots. That way we might have another classic album in the making. Keep the faith, BJ can still kick ass...!

While I've not heard Bounce yet, I agree that this appears to be the case for Crush.

These Days is not Bon Jovi. Its some weird phase the band went through where they felt like writing moody, emotion filled songs about depression, ageing and life in general. Bounce is good rock at its best.
