nah theyare well written...
i read some of his one about the peaks/dales (yorkshire for those that were wondering) for an english exam... really enjoyed it...

Never actually read anything by him. I've heard he's good though. I'm reading Malcolm X at the moment though.... just thought I'd share! :lol:

It's the autobiography of Malcolm X, he was a revolutionist in the 60's who empowered the Blacks in America, kind of around the same time as Martin Luther King. It's very interesting, he was shot in 1965, I think.. I'm not that far yet!

we never learned about him :shock: only martin luther king (my english abitur exam was about him) :?

Malcolm X was more violent then MLK and he really hated whites. If I remember correctly he started the Black Panther movement. I never learnt about in school either, but I've heard about him that's why I thought it might be a good idea to read about his life. It's a really interesting book. After this: Martin Luther King!
