January sales and people getting stressed
 

I braved the sales yesterday to get some pretty good baragins and bought all my cards and wrapping paper for next xmas :) Why do people turn into complete monsters when sales shopping though, Was leaving my car parking spot and two drivers fighting for my space were swearing at each other and arguing about who got there first. :roll:

Did anyone else hit the shop this weekend???

nah not bothering till new year. went out boxing day the past few years but i usually know wot im after when i go shopping so its not too much hassl;e as opposed to my girlfriend who just gfoes and hopes to find stuff.

on my list just now is an electric drumkit, GTA for my xbox and a pair of black converse gutties but as i said they can all wait.

I went to one and will hit another today :D

I love the sales at this time and like you I'll get my christmas decorations for next year. I'll even leave them packed in the bag until next year - that way it'll be just as exciting.

Also, I went to get all the winter sheets on sale!! You know the flannel with reindeers (I am a sheet-aholic) and stuff - lol.

Here sales won't start until Jan. 7 so people are still paying "twice" :P

I don't usually go to the sales just for the sake of it though.

i couldnt be botherd to go to work yesterday and it was a really cold foggy sort of morning, the ones i mention abit that i like going up to london in...so i did, went to tower records in picadilly, erm oxford street, tottenham court road...all over central london just wondering about, it was VERY busy uptown but not meany people seemed to be getting anything, i went up and was in oxford circus at about 9 and was up for a few hours but knowone was walking about withany shopping bags really

[note to jag:] had a look in tower for the IML singles for you, couldnt see any imports, to be honest scince virgin took over tower its been a complete pile of shite, they had a Dry County jap imports (not the digi pack) for £17 but iv got it so left that, had some decent Pearl Jam live shows in (they release every single live show they do on audio cd for the fans...) and they wernt all that expensive, i think they were £16 but left them too as they didnt have the london show i wanted :x

im gona give up on london soon, i only really go in for tower records but as i said, virgin have taken over and its complete shit, this time next year there will be no tower record stores in the UK :mad:

I did not go out shopping on Boxing day or yesterday. I have no money to spend :(

I went yesterday and it was a nightmare my mum and sister and me all went looking for clothes and cheap DVDs and there is SO many people that i have to admitt i turn into a monster! Pople just bump into you, push in the ques and i get VERY stressed and ended up having a big argument with my mum lol. But also got some very cool DVDs 8)

I'd like to, but I haven't had a chance. I'll see if Julie, Susan or Roz wants to do go after-Christmas shoppint this week though. I'm a sucker for sales.

has anyone else noticed how everybody looks exactly the same.
so many people-you would've thought they'd be some variation..but no, they are all alike. amazing.

oh, and january sales? ppl just by stuff that they'll never use so why bother? most of the clothes are way too big or crap. the only decent thing is that the music stores have very good sales. the rest just suck.
