How much would this annoy you?

Julie called me and asked me to come over today because I told her kids I would let them watch my Harry Potter DVDs. She also invited her sister in law Sandra to come over. So, we wait for Sandra and her kid to get there. When we start the movie, Sandra talks through every bit of it. Hailey the oldest girl kept looking at her and turning up the volume. Finally we gave up and went out to dinner and I'm going to go back tomorrow and we're going to watch the movies without Sandra since Julie doesn't even have a clue what's going on.

BTW... Sandra looked at me at one point and asked, "So, why does everyone know who he is?"

I told her "That was explained at the beginning of the movie...." LOL

I know exactly how that is. I can't ever watch movies with my cousins at all! Maybe they're the reasons why i like to watch movies in the middle of the night, when all is still and silent; all those years of putting up with them through movies have  It's not only my cousins, either - my mom and aunt are horrible to watch movies with. They're ALWAYS asking questions...I can understand questions about little things that you might not have caught on to, but major plot lines? It's just terrible.

This is all an horrible experience for me, because i love to watch movies in SILENCE where i can take in every single detail of everything, and analyze the movie...which is quite difficult to do when there are conversations going on and questions being asked -- which are all the reasons why i've ended up watching most movies at night when everyone is sleeping.

But i hope everything goes better for you tomorrow, Becky!

Nope, that isn't very nice. Especially since she couldn't take a hint!

I hate it when people ask questions about films when if they had paid attention they would know!

that really annoys me. my dad gives a running commentary on any film he's seen before.
