We gotta keep the faith with Crush - its a great album

Its hard to see so many people downgrading Crush with the release of Bounce. Crush was a great album to nearly all of you 1 month ago, so why isn't it now? I miss the mid range songs on with Bounce that Crush had, like Two Storey Town and Next 100 Years. With Bounce, its either hard (which is a good thing), its very soft (not a bad thing) or its a story song (something new for BJ). But there isnt that mid range song I dont think like the two I mentioned, or even an I got the girl. Bounce is great, Crush is great, just don't lose sight of that. To the person who said Bounce is better than Its My Life.....I really hope in a few months that isnt how you feel....IML is pretty much the song the band is defined by in the last 10 years.

Crush isn't bad (ITM, OWN, Just Older!), but I prefer Bounce. It's somehow more rock, in my opinion.

I don't say that Crush is bad. But Bounce is way better since I love the heavy guitar on it.

I agree!

i am also a crush fan, after listening to bounce then listen to crush, i find bounce rock harder, even it's my life doesn't have the energy it used to be. but songs like mystery train and save the world are still very nice to listen to, what's more, the songs on bounce are a bit too short, i just can't get enough!
both albums are incredible by the way.
forever bj fan

I love Crush! I think it's a great CD and has held up well. I still enjoy listening to those songs two years later. I think Bon Jovi has reached a point where just about everything they do is good. They're at a level of songwriting, singing, and playing that few people can ever reach.

i never liked crush- hardly any song of it- maybe save the world or mystery train... i didn't like it at the beginning and it hasn't grown on me at all- i didn't even like the songs on the tours- sorry but this is just my opinion...

I 've never thought Crush was a great album either...but that is just MY opinion!! Each to their own. Some people don't like Bounce but myself...I think it is a brilliant album...it's all down to personal choice at the end of the day.
Crush and 7,800 are the only albums I don't play on a regular basis.

I couldn't agree more with you Becky. I love Crush; hey, it isn't my favourite album (and it doesn't beat Bounce), but I listen to it often and I love hearing those songs like: It's My Life, Two Story Town, Next 100 Years, Just Older, Captain Crash And The Beauty Queen From Mars, One Wild Night. These songs are great, and therefore it is a good enough reason to believe that Crush is a good album.

That means they rushed the songs a bit.
