MSN Virus?
 

sometihng is going around, your username get turnd into a .exe link, you install it, it send it to everyone on your list...someone said its a virus, no idea whats going on but its certainly not a good thing

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FILE, dunno if it can be avoided, if anyone gets any info please post it as a heads up for others.

It's probably a worm. Viruses don't necessarily come with attatchments anymore, so that's why it's important that your anti-virus is up to date.

is happening here too, really strange :? 5/6 of my contacts started sending this link at the same time, i thought it was strangr and did't open

i clicked it as it came from rakel, didnt think to ask, it installed itself 4 times on my system :mad: think its gone now, running my antivirus too...

Thanks for the heads up guys! Now I'm off to check my anti-virus software!

im running mine AND ad-aware 6 thingy, i think it checks for spyweare or some crap lol but everything seems to be fine, i havnt even rebooted yet but i though id do a head up quickly as maybe it was gona kill everyones system lol

Yeah...killing peoples systems is not cool. There was a nasty virus that was passed on my floor. 3 people lost their entire harddrives. I laughed...and made sure I did not have them on my msn list!

if i lose my entire hard drive i can say goodbye to every bruce springsteen bootleg on my list....thats alot of music :shock:
