Whitney Vs. Courtney
 

I was watching a special on Whitney Houston tonight and it is obvious the woman has some serious drug related problems. Not to mention she just called the police recently b/c ol' Bobby was beating her up again. Now Courtney Love's child was taken away from her due to her drug abuse. How come the same does not apply to Whitney who also has an abusive husband to boot!!!

I don't know, the fact that Whitney lives in Atlanta, Ga while Courtney lives in LA might have something to do with it.
Also Whitney has far more money and family connections as well.

Does Whitney have a better reputation?

Not anymore. They showed footage of her at the Grammy's and she was a total mess. She was literally in her own world and nobody could talk to her. One of her former business partners said straight out that he has seen her do drugs numerous times.

Then she took a trip to Israel, and they show footage of her staging a concert with nobody else around. :? You have to see it to understand, but "her people" just ignore all of this odd behavior. Plus, she phoned into some radio show and was out of control. One minute she would be fine, teh next she was cursing the interviewer out. Where are child protective services throughout all of this? All of this footage had to be seen by someone.

I saw a Larry King interview with her and he asked her point blank if she did drugs, but she denied it. Though, I thought she was on drugs right there :? It really is such a shame with her. What is it with Bobby? Why on earth would she put up with it?

The difference, though, I think is that Whitney gets a lot more respect in general and the drug problem is not as obvious as with Courtney. Besides, it seems that Courney is the aggressor, while Whitney is not (rather Bobby).

That is all I got.

I think both should loose their kids as long as they get sober again. For Withney never understood why she stays with Bobby Brown he`s an idiot who beats here. That can't be good for a kid and she can't get sober with such a husband. their familes should take the kids I think both women would at least try to stop drugs if the kids where taken away for a while, just to get them back

I just read that Courtney has her daughter back :x (got my hair cut and caught up on the celebrity gossip :P )

I thought Courtney was still in rehab.

Both children should be removed from the parents care. Courtney never should have had custody of Frances in the first place IMO. Whitney needs to get her act together. These environments that the children are growing up in must be affecting them both emotionally and psychologically.

not according to US magazine :lol: I think Francis is with Courtneys stepfather and her sister right now, but C. has custody. Courtney also said she wasn't on any street narcotics, just some pain killer for her back and wrist (huh?) and sleeping pills, but it is nothing to worry about because EVERYBODY does those :shock: Btch!!

There was a picture with her and daughter - Francis looks like Kurt - at least in that picture.

Too bad for the kids involved.

I guess she gets more respect because how she used to be. Although, I think her drug problem is quite obvious being she was arrested in Hawaii for posession of pot. Along with the fact that the recent footage of her trip to Israel is just crazy. :? It is obvious she was on something.
