You love talking to yourself.
It is a great game that is being played out. It is definately the best test series in Australia for a long time. South Africa, West Indies, England, Bangladesh, and Zimbabwe all crumbled at the might of Australia. Now India are writing a new script that will be played out for the next 5 years. That script being..............How to defeat an understrength Aussie side in 4 Test Matches. |

I would also include Shane Warne as part of the Australian side. But in the game so far, the Indians have shown how good they can bat and at times bowl. But it seems after this test that they may struggle to finish off the Australians after such a great start.
Also after this series the Indians will not be test champions, that is reserved for the Aussies. |
Forget who is in and out of both sides. The equation is simple:
Australia have 90 overs remaining and 433 runs to get with 10 wickets in hand. They have to score at just over 4.8rpo, which is a little more than their usual rapid scoring rate. They have the batsmen to do it, but it's a last-day pitch that is turning and are up against a great, great bowler in Anil Kumble, with some good support for him also. Personally, I'm a little surprised but very grateful that Ganguly decided to declare and give Australia some chance of winning, although it gives his bowlers more time to get the 10 wickets needed for a very historic victory. Dammit, I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow. Ah well, I'll just have to get home asap and watch it on tv! :D |
2 possible things...either draw or india will win...if aussies will win...i will never forgive ganguly

We're still going to eat your lunch.
We still have one last weapon on our side. The determination to give Steve Waugh the send off that he deserves, but indeed that will be a useful weapon for India. Steve Waugh does not draw test series. It's win or lose, that is why Steve Waugh is the most successful test captain in history (with the winning percentage). After the test series, its all over for the Indians and Zimbabweans, because our one day team comes to a head. In comes Bevo, Clarkie, McGrath (maybe), and maybe Hoggie. Axlash, if we win, then it will be the Indian team that is a fault. India have all the cards, you have all the keys and you are guarding all of the doors (can't remember which movie that is from), but don't hate Ganguly when you lose. Last time it was the beloved Tandulka that lost his captaincy after their last tour of Australia. Ganguly has done a good job to get the team into position where it is. But that wont matter soon after the Haydos and Langer chew into the Indian attack. |
India would had the better chance if they not let a partnership b/w Katich and Gilespe. That really what made india bat again, now they declare and Aussie need decent run to chase. Tomorrow everything can happend but India winning look more brighter its all depend on how first 3 batsmam play. If they able to get them cheap then India have great chance and if they lose it they Ganguly has some tough question to answer. I can't wait for tomorrow match.

What a great series it was. India vs Australia is the new "clash of the titans" so to speak, as far as cricket is concerned.
