Inquiry into Princess Dianas Death

Do we need one??? I dont think so, its gonna cost us the taxpayers a fortune to fund and they wont even be allowed to use evidence from abroad. I feel sorry for her two sons more than anything, after all they have been through, they now have to face the prospect of members of their own family being charged with their Mothers murder. A total waste of time in my opinion.

I don't know the facts as most facts have been slanted and a lot of bias has been brought in but if there is a genuine case for an inquiry, then good. If someone was to blame they should be brought to justice. But again, I'm not in possession of the unbiased truth and facts about the case.

I agree with you, Carli. The last thing William and Harry will want will be to go through it all again. Must have been so hard for them!

Besides, I think what hasn't been already found will never be, so better leave things alone at last!

Why can't people just leave this whole thing alone? Every time a new inquiry or book is released, Diana's family must go through hell. It doesn't matter if this inquiry proves anything-she can't be brought back.

nothing will come of it. the power of a government/royal family is so overwhelming that everything will get swept under the rug. they hoped the french would do a good enough job of it all back then but it seems to have backfired slightly.

Whatever happened, we will never know for sure and I don't think it really matters anymore ... The thing stays the same ... she is dead and another investigation, ... won't change anything of that !

Let the womand rest in peace ...

there is a strong possibility that one of your family was murdered. does it not matter to find out the truth?

Its another JFK scenario. Conspiracies! Conspiracies! - and that still hasn't been resolved 40 years on! It is important to try and find out the truth though. I think it should be up to William and Harry - if they want to pursue it, it should be their choice and nobody-elses.

Yes it does matter to find the truth but what good would another investigation do?!

that's a valid point because nothing new will come of it. too much goes on behind the scenes in cases like this. i still think if there's a chance of the truth coming out after this letter, then it should be looked at.
