How would you handle this situation?
First of all, this is not a personal situation for me.
You're being sexually harrassed at work and KNOW it's sexual harrassment for sure. But you don't want to report it because you don't want the scandal. You don't want to cost someone his job. You just want him to leave you alone. What would you say or do? Becky |
Personally I would try and talk to the person and explain that I do not want this happening. If that doesn't work then I would report him. If someone is doing that and making me uncomfortable, I'm not going to worry about his job.

If talking to the guy and telling him how uncomfortable he was making me feel didnt work, then I would report it. Id also ask my collegues for advice too and see if they had noticed it.

I would talk to the person first and them how I feel. If the person won't stop then I would report them. They could go too far with the harassment and really hurt someone both emotionally and physically.

I would try to talk to him about it first, Maybe he doesnt know that hes making anyone feel uncomftable. If that doesnt work then just report him. :)

I agree with that too. A warning from a superior would set him straight real fast. |
I don't know ... Talk to him is perhaps the best thing to do in the first place but if he does it too most of you I don't think it will help a lot ... But it's worth the try !! If you all know about it, I wouldn't leave her alone telling it ... Do it with 2,3 ... together !!! That way he'll notice you mean it! Tell him you all don't want it anymore and if it doesnt stop you'll report him together ... That should work I think ...
Good luck to the girl |
