Argument I have on another board.
Aloha !
On another board there's an argument going on between me and someone else. She claims that when a show (doesn't matter which artist) is sold out in one or two days, the spare tickets are harder to get sold then when a gig hasn't even sold out yet, or sold out in 5 weeks or longer. She even says that there's a difference between the real big artists like the Stones and Springsteen compared to the smaller ones like Metallica (she obviously doesn't know how big Metallica is nowadays) or any other smaller artist. I said her logic doesn't make sense. Whenever there's not much of anything, it makes it rare and therefor the prices for it raise. You see it happening all over the world. Limited CD's, Limited Cars, anytime there's a limit on it the value raises. And her argument for how big the artist is doesn't make sense too anyway, because the bigger the artist, the more people are willing to pay for them. Oh and I don't know if she reads this coincidentally; It was not to piss you off or to prove my right, I'd like to know if I'm really that wrong as you claim I am. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |
No its quite simple, the harder the tickets are to get hold off, the more money they are sold for. Just tell her to check out ebay if she doesnt believe you.

I wanted to prove it with eBay, but I don't have a good artist to prove it. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |
