I don't think I am at all. I believe it's all nonsense but some people seem to believe in these things so much though.

no Im not, think people must have been prety bored to have come up with some of them, if you see a black cat its lucky !!!!!!!! Maybe that was one a witch made up !

It would be interesting to find the same old topic to make comparisons .... I can't say i am, but in fact i'm not 100% sure :? i can't pass under a ladder ..... but i have 2 black cats and i like the Friday 13rd. I suppose it's not very important for me as long as it's not about something important, (like health for example)

im not really superstitious....

i believe in causality... superstion is much more chaotic....

i used to subscribe to the one about not standing on the cracks/gaps in the paving- still do but now i do because walking on those in sheffield would mean you'll prolly break your leg from the uneven surfaces!

The funny thing is, in Spain a black cat means bad luck. So so much for superstition then :roll:

Also the bad luck day around here is Tuesday 13th!

I'm not superstitious at all, but I also thought black cats were supposed to be unlucky.

All superstitions most probably date back to a stupid incident happening to someone (like walking under a ladder and probably got paint on themself), and it escalated so everyone knows them, but they're all a load of crap.

The only way any of them would work out to be unlucky is if a person (for example) saw a black cat, and then believed that something unlucky would befall them, so they do everything that day pessimisticly (sp?), and if something even slightly misfortunate happens to them they think it was because that one small, insignificant thing happened.

Don't know. Sometimes maybe? I believe in subjects that bring luck to you and friday the 13th should bring bad luck?

I was BORN on Friday the 13th - I think it is a lucky day LOL. No I am not superstitious at all - but I'm an engineer, I believe in scientific things.
