KERRANG!! Album review on Bounce
hi all,
Found this album review from Kerrang web site (http://www.kerrang.com/nav?page=kerr..._artist=192636) and I got a question to ask... This is the review: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ JON BON Jovi is 40 years old. His band have sold 92 million albums in the 18 years since their debut was released. And still the machine rolls on, partly because Jon's acting career never really made headlines, but mostly because Bon Jovi, like contemporaries U2, can't give up the thrill of being one of the biggest rock bands on Earth. 'Bounce', their eighth album, is no match for the classic 'Slippery When Wet', but it's a model of stadium rock. The single 'Everyday' has the same anthemic quality as 2000's 'It's My Life' and on the title-track, Jon almost says '"f**k"'. That'll be 100 million sales by Christmas, then. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And my question is .. which song the reviewer referred that Jon almost says "f**k" ?? Is it on Bounce? which line anyway? thanks |
It's referring to the song Bounce, when Jon sings, "Call it karma, call it luck, me I just don't give a f-f-f-f-f...BOUNCE, BOUNCE!!'
The f-f-f-f is Jon seemingly about to say f**k to rhyme with luck. Hope that helps! :) |
Oh, it sure slips my ear...let me listen that part again...thanks for the info :)

Look! Now they call SWW classic. I'm curious what they wrote in 1986. Anyway they're weak reviewers. They reviews contain no information at all and they are shord-sighted.
