Did Bon Jovi ever inspire you in any way?
 

Just being curious. Did Bon Jovi ever inspire you to do, learn, believe, or write anything?

Well, I started to learn to play the drums because of them, about 2 years ago. (I know, it´s pretty late to start by the age of 15, but better late than never :wink: ). And after I´ve heard Cama de Rosas and Como yo nadie te he amado, I wanted to learn Spanish. About 1 year ago I started with it and now I love that language!

So, did you also pick up an instrument or another hobby because of BJ? Or did they inspire you in any other way?

Many things!

On the non-serious side, I wanted to be a rock star, so I picked up a bass guitar. I can't sing and my best friend Julie wanted to be the keyboard player. LOL We were really bad and realized we were all more college material than star material. :)

Jon has inspired me in so many ways I can't list them all. Some are just too personal for me to share on the board. One that isn't so personal is that Jon is the reason I decided to stick with college. I was MISERABLE my first week away from home and away from my family, pets, and friends. But, I woke up that Friday morning and asked myself what Jon would do. I realized he wouldn't give up on anything so easily. So, I made up my mind right there that I'd at least stick it out for the first quarter. Seven years later, I graduated summa cum laude with a Master's. :D Then, of course, Jon has to go and get bestowed a Ph.D. So now I have to get one of those too. LOL ;)

Bon jovi has inspired me in many ways,
I now have a dream of being a songwriter/singer of music (like them), and their music in a way helps me with different issues that i face in my life....as i can relate the issues to songs that bj have sung. A song doesn't necessarily have to be exactly about the issue I have either, if its about the attitude i am trying to have about something, I also relate to it.
So their music influences and inspires me in many ways
