Another Aussie newspaper review...
Bon Jovi
Bounce (rock)] While most of us watched our TVs in horror last September 11, Jon Bon Jovi could literally smell the devastation from his New Jersey residence. But rather than dwell on the negative, Bon Jovi's latest album, Bounce, carries a message of hope and unity. Opening in, ahem, a blaze of glory with the brilliant 9/11 influenced Undivided and the top-five hit Everyday, Bounce is definitely a rocker. There's stellar story-telling in the form of Joey and Right Side Of Wrong while the textbook Bon Jovi ballads, You Had Me From Hello and All About Loving You will also please fans. For highlights, look no further than the stadium-tuned anthems Hook Me Up, Bounce and Love Me Back To Life. Easily the best thing Bon Jovi have released in a decade. 4.5/5 :!: |
Seems the Aussie newspapers appreciate what Bon Jovi have done with this album. It is good to see some great reviews for a change.

Wow! I wish american critics would treat this band as open-mindedly as some other people.

Aussies must love Bon Jovi. I remember Crossroad going into the top-10 in Austria just after Bon Jovis concerts in Austria.

Australian media love Bon Joiv. Even Tico said - this is going back to KTF tour that here in Australia we get treated like Kings. Bounce for me is thier best album by far. BJ do deserve the great reviews - in my opinion anyway.
Keep on Bouncing JO |
